    What is Your Path? Kitchen / Hedge Witch
    About Me Well, this is the third time I'll attempt to do this... I am a SAHM, a wife, a witch, a coven sister, and a teacher. I've been practicing for over 10 years and have been studying related subjects for about 15. I've been reading tarot for 15yrs as well. I'm a part of a very small coven, but enjoy learning and getting to know others of the same mindset. I find that the more I meet others and learn other modes of thought, the more I challenge my own thoughts, feelings and beliefs.
    Music A little of everything, country, rock, alternative, and so on... I listen to a lot of music
    Movies Many... can't think of one off the top of my head though... I may have to come back to this one.
    TV We don't have any TV service and are starting to enjoy it. It gives us more quality family time.
    Books I read a lot so thats like asking which is your favorite child. I really value my Solitary Witch book by Ravenwolf. I feel its a very complete overview of almost every subject that witches/pagans study. I call it the witches encyclopedia.
    Likes Life, laughter, love, children, animals, nature, art, cooking, friendship, making things, reading, and so on.
    Dislikes I don't like that we often find ourselves over worrying about the little problems in life. I especially don't like it when I do it. I feel that those things in life quickly pass and we just have too keep moving forward. If I can't do anything about it right then why worry about it. I don't like dishonesty, egomaniacs, gossip, drama, and so on. I don't like that I have a habit of babbling a lot. I can't seem to say what I want simply. It annoys me.
    Hobbies Painting, sculpting, drawing, murals, jewelry making, knitting, cooking, reading, and having fun with my loved ones.
    Vices Coffee, I smoke, my husband would say my computer, and I can't think of anything else but I know there are many more.
    Virtues Compassion, patience, the ability to see situations in a different light and explain it in a way that helps people. Hmm... yet again I'll have to think more on that.
    Heroes Oh boy, my family! They are the one stable point that gives me strength when I feel I have none, courage when I'm scared, and the reason I feel so content in life. My mom, she's gone through so much, and she is an inspiration to me.

    So, I guess his is where I'm supposed to include the whole Who am I stuff?  I always feel a little wierd doing this... Mostly because it feels like I'm having a self-centered moment.

    Well, lets see, I'm newly married with one child, I've been a practicing witch for about 10 years and have been involved with pagan related activities for 15 years or so.  Namely, reading tarot cards, religious history, pantheons and related mythology, so on...

    I am at the crossroads in my life right now and that's why I'm out to meet people of like mind and get different perspectives on spirituality in general.  I spend most of my time at home with my daughter, and I often need the outside influence of other adults.  When I'm not online, or hanging out with my family, I involve myself with my art, herbs, and books.  I also love to cook.  Although, my husbands waistline doesn't seem to like it as much. 

    I am getting used to being an at home mom and am enjoying the trials that come with that... and the freedom to work with my spirituality more.

    So, I'm sure my next blog will be a lot more interesting but I feel it's good to have something here to say Hey this is me...  and see what comes of it.
